If you have listened to very many of the recorded church services on this web site, you have no doubt heard a few sermons preached by Troy Daily. Troy, a great friend and my former Sunday School Teacher was one of Freedom Baptist's resident preachers. Eventualy Troy was called to pastor another church (Mt. Zion Baptist Church). If you have enjoyed listening to the sermons Troy preached at Freedom Baptist, you will want to check out this site where you can learn more about Mt. Zion Baptist Church and even listen to their church services just as you are able to listen to services of Freedom Baptist Church on this site. The Wings of Faith are my favorite gospel singing group as well as my good friends. Many of the songs they sing, they have written themselves. Their music is full of gospel messages of uncompromising truth which can uplift the poor in spirit, heat up the luke warm, and convict the lost soul. The best thing I know to say about this group is that their lives reflect what they sing about. They are real. They do it all for the glory of God. Their hearts desire is to see lost souls saved. This gospel singer pours every thing she has into singing a song of praise. Aside from a beautiful singing voice, just seeing her passion and love for the Lord as she sings is a blessing and a witness of itself. This lady is just as likely to break out and start singing in a restaurant as she is in church! I know, I've seen her do it! I know her, not only as a singer of the gospel, but as a friend as well. Much of the preaching and teaching of the gospel you will find on television today is either corrupt or so watered down that it is hardly worth watching. There are a few exceptions however and the programming produced by Cross TV is one of them. You will not find their programs on any of the major Christian networks such as TBN however, because they refuse to water down the truth to a standard that meets their agenda. Cross TV is not afraid to teach about Hell and they make no compromise in teaching that the only way to avoid Hell is to be saved by coming through the door which is Jesus Christ. If you are not fortunate enough to live in an area where you can receive the broadcasts of Cross TV, you can visit their web site where yo can read about and order any of their teaching programs on tape or CD. Have you ever been frustrated by just not being able to get through to someone when trying to witness to someone about the gospel of Jesus Christ? Some may find it surprising to hear that Charlie Daniels is a Christian. Well, he is. He's not your average celebrity type of Christian either; I believe he's got the real thing. Check out his Christian music CDs, "The Door" and "Steel Witness". Also when visiting his web site check out the "Soapbox" section where Charlie expresses his views on just about everything. The things he writes in the soapbox section of his web site and the lyrics of the Christian songs he writes show a real understanding and reverence toward the Word of God.WHCB Radio
My favorite Christian radio station. It's not my favorite station because of the music. Actually, I prefer more traditional gospel music than they play. So why is it my favorite gospel radio station? well, they don't play a lot of music at all, but they have many wonderful "teaching" programs that I find edifying and inspiring. If you live in the Northeast Tennessee or Southwest Virginia area catch them at 91.5 FM, otherwise listen to them via the internet!Prophecy Update

A good source for a variety of items of interest for the Christian, such as bibles, videos, etc... I purposely set this link to take you to one of the items they sell that I like a lot. It is a bookmarker with God's plan of salvation printed on it and is color coded to show the various scriptures pertaining to different aspects of the plan. This is such a simple item, yet it is so valuable. In a moment when you are on the verge of leading someone to Christ, it is handy to have all the scriputres that cover God's plan of salvation all in one place! A friend I've never met, Isaac Hogston gave me one as a gift and that is how I come to know about this item. Persoanally, I believe every Christian who desires to always be ready to lead someone to Christ ought to have one (at least one).Higher Ground Baptist Church
Higher Ground Baptist Church is a very well known church in my hometown of Kingsport, Tennessee. This church is large and has an appearence of prosperity, but don't let that fool you (some people tend to assume that such churches are always about popularity and materialism and teach watered down "feel good" doctrines). This is not always so. It's not so with this church. Sometimes it is simply that they are doing something right and God is pouring out His blessings on them. The sermons and teachings that come out of Higher Ground are sound and straight out of the bible without compromise, or as my friend Melisa Hogston would say... They "preach that fire down from Heaven that stomps on toes with truths that's hard to bare!" If there's any doubt you can go to their web site and listen to some sermons for yourself.Grace to You
John MacArthur is a tell it like it is preacher. On this site you can listen to his sermons and read transcrips of sermons as well as his articles and other teaching materials. He is a feathred guest teacher on Cross TV (see link above). From the Cross TV site you can purchase what i regard as one of the best teachings I have ever heard titled, "Doesn't Anyone Care About the Truth Any More?"Blue Letter Bible
This is a good bible study site. It is particularly good for word studies which I find to be very important for understnding scripture in its proper context. On this site you can cross reference Hebrew and Greek language to English and vise-a-versa. There are also many other bible study tools available on this site.Faith Writers

“GospelOk, is a website founded by owners Daniel and Courtney Graves of Yukon, Oklahoma. Daniel and Courtney along with their young son Blake are a solid Christian young couple. The primary purpose of GospelOk, is to offer another outlet for Southern / Country Gospel artists to feature as well as link their Ministries, post their concert dates. Churches and other Ministries are all invited to do the same. Another aspect of GospelOk, that is in the works and planning stages, is an Internet Gospel Music Station, that will cater to all artists that have become a “Featured” Ministry, which would consist mostly of the independant artists, who are very talented vocally, muscianship and song writing abilites.
