ight HouseThe following is a guide I made up for the Bible School class that I helped teach this year (2006). A major focus of this year's Bible School was on "Spreading the Good News". Therefore a lot of emphasis was placed on preparing the students for witnessing to others about the gospel of Jesus Christ and winning lost souls for the Kingdom of God. In that capacity, I wrote the following "Witnessing Guide" and gave it to the students to aid them in this very important job that is the charge given to all Christians.
Witnessing Guide
We all have sinned.
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:23The penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23Christ died to pay for your sins.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8To be saved, you must believe in your heart on the Lord Jesus Christ and confess that you accept him as your savior.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10God promises to save all who will call upon Him seeking salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13
